Hi all,

Posting on behalf of a TFL pal; thought it’d draw some interest. Pre-war or a post-war modification? Thrift shop find. thoughts gents? Thanks.

My guess .. is that because of the extra side and upper arm panels , this is a commercial/ private purchase jacket that was tweaked up after the war . I’ll leave the maker speculation to others more knowledgeable than myself .While the squared up look of the pockets say Aero , the zipper box leather extends way past the wind flap stitch line and the entire lower knits look like they were attached with knitting needles rather than an acceptable sewing job .
