I can just picture a WW2 B-17 or B-24 crew wearing those (in that color!). I sure wouldn't want to be captured behind enemy lines (or any other lines) wearing one!! :lol:

In that case, the plane&crew should have been named "Strawberry Bitches" :D

A yellow Mae-West would have clashed horribly with the jacket--oh my!!
("Captain, I just simply cannot wear this tacky thing over my lovely A-2!")
