I don't think there are any airworthy B-17F's left, are there ?shedonwanna said:The original Memphis Belle was a B-17F model.
shedonwanna said:The original Memphis Belle is under restoration at the Air Force Museum in Dayton. The B-17 seen on tour is a B-17G painted to appear as the Memphis Belle and is owned by the Military Aircraft Restoration Corporation of Chino, California (may have a different owner/name by now). The original Memphis Belle was a B-17F model.
Boeing Bee, owned by the Museum of Flight in Seattle, is airworthy but currently in storage, unknown if it'll fly again.

It's been on display at the Museum of Flight for about a year and will probably never fly again. I saw her yesterday.
