M-421A Named to TBF pilot (with pics)

I just got another M-421A and i was wondering id anyone could tell me the fiscal year of the contract: It's NXsa-5134.
It's a H&L Block jacket.
I will post pictures later on today or tomorrow.

That's FY 1943 ... NXsa has the extra pocket, the two pocket version is NXs 5134.

THat's correct David. THanks for the info. I will post pictures of the jacket. It is named to a TBF pilot but that's all I know right now.

That's FY 1943 ... NXsa has the extra pocket, the two pocket version is NXs 5134.

Hmmmmmmmmm.............my M-421A contract number is NXs-1404 and it has three pockets. That being said, it looks like the NX number doesn't jive with what you said. Not trying to be a dick, just trying to figure out what the patterns are.

Stony, my reponse was regarding the H & L Block contract, NXsa 5134.

Your jacket, contract NXS 1404, THE DRYBACK CORPORATION is also known in two versions (two, and three pocket) ... both have the same label.

Dryback's second contract, NXSA 16683, are all version 2.
