i think pherrows was discussed in an earlier thread but my memory isn't waht it used to be...help, someone?

Who are 'Pherrows' ?

Pherrows are a Japanese repro maker like Toyo/Buzz Ricksons, but not quite to the same quality, or degree of authenticity, and in a lower price range.

Not often found out of Japan, Pherrows also make the brand C.C. Masters.

Those are Connect zippers (as found on all Pherrows flight jackets), not Crown. CC Masters (CC stands for Combat Clothing) is Pherrow's military label - just like Toyo use the name Buzz Rickson's. I handled a L-2B by them and the quality seemed pretty good, but overall their product isn't in the BR class; the new price for one of their jackets is actually not far off what you'd pay for a Buzz but they tend to sell cheaper on the secondary market.
