I have a Star G1 which needs the knits replaced, looking for someone to do the job and use the original holes as close as possible. I have spoken with Diana at "Great Leather" who seem very knowledgeable and would do her best to follow the original pattern. Has anyone used them and or do you have any firsthand experience with a service that would be able to fulfill this restoration work. Thank you for your help.

Try this lady. She's great! She has replaced knits for me and she did work on Allen's NOS Cagleco G-1 which he said was 1st rate. Even sewing through original sewing holes. Doing this work on vintage flight jackets is her expertise. Give her a call. You'll be impressed.
