hello,

just received today, i saw in different post that some of you were disappointed when receiving their parcel; sorry for that.
but in my case; i'm more than happy.
i discover this jacket on ebay USA on a listing from a seller not specialised in militaria.
the jacket was correctly listed and well presented with nice photos.
i follow her and hit (sniped) her at the last second; there was only one guy trying to buy her but he put a price too short and i win.
enough blablabli,
jacket is in great condition, only one serious tear on a sleeve and the insignia attacked by moth.
just some small point of color or grease, probably when the mechanic was working on a plane in 1944; i will say that.
for the rest excellent condition.
i wil not use her as wearer, just as collector piece.
here follow the photo report

Good work, Marcel ... I don't think you'll find a label, it's pretty flimsy, and often missing on the M-41.

Nice to see a happy buyer! Great looking M-41. I'm considering one of them for warmer weather wear.

Nice find Marcel. M-41's are great jackets. Nice quality and well cut with a real vintage look about them. In the absence of the size tag I'd guess it as a 38S. Dean, are you considering an original or a repro ?

As usual, cost will determine that. I would predict Spring purchase, April or May, actually no new jackets until then, I've blown the budget lately. I lean toward a repro because fit and cost are probably putting an original out of range.

Dean, the pros and cons of various repro M-41's have been discussed in other threads. The Buzz Rickson jacket is probably the best but it's horribly expensive.
