I doubt wether it is as old as the seller says it is.It looks to be 1950's>.I have a 1940's Notre Dame college jacket that has buttons,not snaps.Most of the early jackets I have seen have buttons not snaps.Also,the cut looks later.

I would say late 50s or 60s. I have a 1960s era jacket from the same maker and it looks very much like this one.
