Yes your saving money compared to a new jacket, but remember 500.00 US is still 350.00 GBP, order direct from ELC and its 434.00. So you do get a savings of 74.00 GBP but its not as great a deal as it seems, and there certainly isnt any room for profit to be made from buying and re-selling this jacket, especially once you factor in shipping costs.
