This jacket is about 3 months old and I have been putting it to test. Heavy rain soakings, hours of driving time, hours of wearing. These photos show how our goatskin ages and breaks in.

Was the original Church pocket flaps that deep?
Oh yeah... for sure!
That is one of the defining features of the Church M422a. I put our reproduction flaps right on top of my original jacket and they are a match.

Next up we are doing a early contract Church made from our Chestnut Goatskin with a Rust Mouton collar. It will look like the photo above. As you may know, the early Church had a Russet / Chestnut color hide, and then later on they switched over to Seal color hides.
