ELC G1 vs M422a

Hi guys
For a long time now i m considering a m422a
Nothing in my size 38 on the Bay
Already have an ELC g1
Is there a big difference especially with leather color ?
I don't want a 2nd one in the same colour

From their website, the M-422A is in a lighter shade of brown than their G-1 (“mid brown” vs “dark brown”). Basically looks like a seal vs dark seal color. Probably a noticeable difference. My advice though would be to look on eBay and yahoo Japan for original M-422As. They’ll likely be cheaper than an Eastman and will appreciate in value where an Eastman will only depreciate.
