I recently sold a leather jacket to a buyer in the USA via eBay and as it weighed over 3kg I chose to use parcel2Go as opposed to the rip-off Parcelforce. I declared it as a leather jacket on their booking site and it wasn't down as 'restricted' but today when the Fedex driver collected it he said there would be a problem as clothing needs special clearance declaration when sending to the USA. I have never experienced this before but am anxious it won't now get there. Anyone had similar problems?
