Interesting set of patches.

What I noticed a while back when I recreated that 460th BG patch was that the original artist messed up the left front paw. Look at the number of claws on it compared to the anatomically correct version below. I only noticed the error after I had carved the design, so my version repeats the mistake :oops:

Here are my versions - error included! The Italian carved patches often have such mistakes probably because once you have carved the design there is no correcting it - not the case with painted or hand embroidered versions.
