B15 jacket cleaning

I just bought a vintge RL B15 jacket and I want to clean it. I Ask for advice before doing something stupid.

Yeah, definitely make sure they have experience dealing with fur. Might be worth asking if they've dealt with pile before, as that's an uncommon material these days.

Yes of course, but it's the same for the CWU for wich it is recommended to dry clean only, while most os us clean them in the washing machine.

Always best to check I guess.Ritchy, I'm loathe to wash my vintage Levi's in the machine even though it has a early care label , especially my Levi 501 big E jeans haha

Most things that have a dry clean only label can be washed. I mostly wash them gently in a bath and occasionally in the machine. I've washed wool overcoats and leather and sheepskin jackets and all sorts. I haven't had a disaster so far.

Washed my Eastman b15 cold wash without any issues

Machine wash in cold water, mild detergent and gentle cycle, no problem.

Just check the jacket parts for aging and deterioration, if so, go the bathub and rinse way. Use your head and evaluate the risk.

My mum done my bronson B10 in the machine and I’m disappointed how it’s left the alpaca, or whatever it is they are using. Also collars are never the same and lose that new aesthetic look that comes with a brand new jacket
