American Optical G-2 sunglasses?

I cannot find a makers mark on the glasses. Very well made heavy glasses, that have been in this case for sometime as the bridge has left an indent on the case. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have a slightly older pair of USAF Type II sun glasses...very early 1950's that I got from a Korean war vet...made by Rochester Optical....but they are not marked either. They look very similar to yours, but the case looks like a WW II one, except in blue rather than green leathette.

On the back side of the nose pads, the side that is not next to the nose. Take a magnifying glass and look for the marking A/O. If you find these markings then you have the real deal.
