A2 Sizing Advice (Headwind Bronco)

Hi, long time lurker first time poster here.

Theres a new Headwind Bronco size 38 on ebay i have my sights on.
Actual measurements from seller:
Chest - 21"
Shoulders 17.5";
Arms 24.5";
Length 24.5";

I‘m 5’7“, 135”, 36” chest. I’ve reached out to the seller (who I understand is also a forum member) and he assured me it’d be a good fit. I just thought i’d get the opinion of the good people here on VLJ as well. Would love to hear any thoughts you have on the matter…. cheers and thanks!

I’ve never owned that make but it’s pretty common to go up one size on an A-2

My rule of thumb is that for an A-2 jacket, the ideal chest measurement is 5-7 inches more than your actual chest measurement. So that should be a good fit.

The seller is Headwinds Mfg, you could probably get it cheaper either through the Headwinds website or by reaching out to @Skyhawk who owns the company and is a member here and buy it via the classifieds

If you are concerned about my Norshor Dubow that you inquired about being too large, the HW Bronco's measurements are even larger in a size 38 FWIW.
