A-2 Leather Hanger

On original A-2's, is there a lot of variation regarding the leather hanger?

Is there a typical size that is found on most A-2's?

1) What is the typical length and width of the leather hanger?

2) What is the typical shape of the box X stitching (a square box or a rectangular box)?

Thanks,

Striker

Striker do you need this info to help you manufacture A2s or are you writing a book on the subject?

Sometimes originals in photos, when looking at the back, the box X appears to vary in size.

Acme Depot shows an example of 'bar-tacking' instead of the typical box X (it's a Bronco A-2). They also show an example of no X inside the boxes (Doniger).

Are there any other interesting variations that you've come across?

Regarding variations in the A-2 hanger stitching. I have an original Bronco 29191 that has the 'X' stitching instead of the bar-tacking. This reinforces the differences within any contract as "we" have seen before.
