The Belgian Baugnez 44 museum is closing its doors Jan 9th.:(

A damn shame if you ask me!
They perpetuate the memory of the Battle of the Bulge, were open for 15years, magnificent collection, visited the place several times.
Like other places, I guess the cost for maintenance, heating, covid, etc made them pull the plug. Never read or heard the exact reason for closure.

just strolling through some pictures, I think these would be appreciated here.
The A-2 does need some TLC I guess
Anyone has an idea of maker or contract?

Do you know if they are going sell off any of their collections ?
I had a chat with the guy at the reception. asking that same question.
The city of Malmedy is going to acquire a part of it, other museums will also take over some items.
Would hate to see it scattered all over the place.
Don't think anything will end up in my living room.
