14th sqd raf patch date question?

Hi all,

just pick this up a local market, mixed up with a load of patches from German towns, I've done some research and 14 sqd was in Germany throughout the 1950's flying Vampire and Venom jets, just wondered if any one could confirm this was a 50's patch.

Difficult to date that patch other than it has the Queen's crown and therefore is post 1953. Looking at the style of the thread etc I would date it later, 60's/70's onward. You could try enquiring at their association.....
