Hello: It's the real deal from a Former Doom Pussy Camberra pilot: The patch is an original Vietnam war era. He became later staff or/and instructor in the 454th FTS. The jacket is most certainly post war time issued and put together for his FTS times. I have seen it on Ebay and bid on it.
Ah yes Canada should be different like in the US. Euro ( French) Custom rip me off. Yes on Buyee, the japanese sellers most of the time: they package carefully.
Hello Dany, yes Bonded are also like real. the BR L-2a edition you show ( with green liner) is a special edition with light blue bonded tread: personnaly I don't remember seen this type in real. May be had existed in real but I am not sure. My real L-2a superior togs have dark blue thread. BR do...
No you don't have a problem^^, if so: we all have ^^ That's a very good question: The tread color is a real subject. The original is a bonded tread: it's a coating put on the thread, to make it more smooth, protect it or make it Nomex...

No, all patches are not originals. For sure the Bullet Operation patches, 306th, are good. Linebacker is a repro for sure, Arc light/young tiger seems too. And the 1 missions could be also. On the front the nametags , SAC, MCC patches are ok.
Hello Mackie, It's Benoit : again congrats for this amazing jacket, a very precious one. Have these photos from the same jacket. Of course it's an Ewards test pilot jacket. Came from Jet Pilot Overseas site: but I don't think it' s his:
Glad my infos can help! Yes several sellers do this on Ebay. Some people really try hard to replicate those jackets. Some restore them also and put real patches on it. That's why it's hard to detect real one from fake. I avoid Blue nametape/wings jacket, 90% are fake. You have to search for...
Hello because image worth thousand words: so here's the correct and real patches from the 563rd tfs; F-105 era with flat edges.
The 563rs patch on your jacket have wrong colors on the back of the ace and the ace of spades is really to dark: it should be very light cream color like one the...
