The point is, it is being sold as a World War 2 airborne jacket. It also has no label.

Just got in a mint anti-cold insulated clothing inc. N-2B, size Xl, 24 September 1971, Scovill zipper, fur still supple. Bought it for 20 Euros from some online retro/vintage shop.

Hi, is anyone knowledgeable about radio carrier vests. I obtained one for 15 Euros, a blue one, size L by Thorn Electrical Industries. What I can find is that they were used to prolong battery life through body heat. I know also Alpha made copies in the eighties. Cheers, Frans

Adam of Mythbusters was wearing a really weird looking jacket the other day, with a huge red 'remove before flight' tag hanging from it. I do not think it was one of these Alpha, though.

Hi guys, I have obtained a set of plastic colonel ranks in transparent plastic sew-on squares. I have an L-2b with plastic captain's bars, also in transparent plastic, sewn onto the epaulets. This L-2b als has the transparent plastic name tag holder. I would like to put the new colonel ranks...
