As far as i know Excelled have both current G1 USN and A2 USAF contracts. Cockpit lost the A2 contract a while back. Must admit the issue Cockpit A2 was poor leather compared to their civilian version.

I have several G1s with knits replaced from Flightjackets and find the quality second to none. Larry is very helpful to deal with and will match up the knits to the type and jacket you need

Very many thanks for the replies. I spoke to Cockpit they supply the A2s to the USAF but not the the G1s to the USN. Anyone seen Pharr jackets dated after 2005? As i said i have a 2008 Excelled so still confused. Thanks again! Peter
