Aldencrest 1950's Motorcycle Jacket w/ Removable Fur Collar

It annoys me when people ask for info on their jacket here only to sell it elsewhere. At least give us the chance to acquire the jacket.

Please help me identify the production and year of manufacture of the french cyclist jacket

The zipper with the metal plate attached to the insertion pin looks very much late 30s to me. I've never seen such a zipper on a post war jacket.

Can anyone ID this vintage motorcycle jacket?

Thanks, I'm happy to share my knowledge. I enjoy it actually, answering these 'who's the maker' questions. As long as they're civilian styles :).

Help me identify the model # of this jacket please...was my fathers from early 50's...also need to know how to measure for size...value?

I don't mind tbh, as long as they're not price gauging, looking to scalp. Like this guy who bought a jacket for $250, asked TFL for info on his jacket which he then used to list it on eBay for $2.5k. A couple of months ago a guy found a Buco J24L on his attic, he came to TFL to ask about model...

I've bought and sold hundreds of vintage motorcycle jackets and I check all the online marketplaces on a daily basis. I think that gives me a pretty good idea about market value. I might go as far as to calling myself an expert lol. VLJ forum is mostly about military stuff. The Fedora Lounge is...

Sounds to me like he's looking to sell, which is totally fine of course. But why not just say so.

Yeah, maybe I should stop doing those. Why would one care about market value if it's actually their father's jacket from the 50s. Same holds for size.
