    Tanker jacket

What is the design and fit of a tanker jacket? Photos of them are typically quite baggy in the lower back, with the pleated back. The Spearhead version in a size 42 measures 25" across the armpits and I wonder if this is typical of the design? Ed

    White collar bB10's

I'll scan the pics tomorrow, but yes. Maguire and Conway's book says it had a 'stitched down' epaulette. They have pics of one jacket and the Spearhead repros look like it, a dark OD B-10. Just guessing, but maybe the A-9 was one in the series of prototypes that you describe before the B-10...

    White collar bB10's

Dunno Dave. Maguire and Conway refers to the A-9 jacket as a predecessor to the B-10. They have some two pics in their book, and say that "little is known about it".

I have seen random photos of modern cordura versions of the B-4 in green and blue and they are easily available in the present day US cam pattern, but it's the green or blue that I'm after. The...

    B-4 Bag

Does anyone know where I can get a functional B-4 bag? I see there are modern versions out there, but they are in cam material. I would prefer a green bag. Alternatively, I would also be interested in a vintage B-4, but they seem just as hard to find. Thanks Ed

Repro B-10 from unknown maker... comments anyone?

Hi Jason, I've been away from VLJ for a couple of years now, before the big website change apparently, but good to see a few familiar names still around. I've been spending my money on radios instead. I just bought one of these B-10s so I'll report back when I get it. I'm not much of an...
