In case it’s of interest to anyone what looks to be an original WW2 Devon fleece Irvin jacket has been listed for sale on eBay UK.
It’s a typically fairly small 36 wartime fit but the Buy It Now price doesn’t seem excessive.
From the photos the jacket appears to be in not too bad a condition...
It’s possible other leathers might be different but when I bought my goatskin G-1 jacket it was in a fairly similar wrinkled condition to the Imperial G-1 recently sold on eBay.
However, after being worn just a few times any creases soon dropped or smoothed out and now the jacket looks like any...
I don’t know if it was anyone on here but the Imperial G-1 appears to have soon been snapped up.
Not surprising really given the condition and price, just a shame it wasn’t a couple of inches larger in the chest.
The seller looks to specialise in vintage clothing and has quite a number of...

In case anyone is interested an Imperial Type G-1 jacket has just been listed on eBay UK with a Buy It Now price of £94.99
It’s a size 44ins chest and if I’ve understood the label correctly looks to date from 1974.
From the listing photographs it appears to be in pretty good condition...
Agreed. With one exception my Cooper G-1 gets far more wear than all my other military jackets put together.
As has previously been said the one possible drawback being the fur collar in warmer weather, which is why I’ve been considering an ANJ-3 from AVI. This would appear to combine the best...
Although I’m not sure it’s actually needed (very short hair, short jeans and DM boots are probably more of a giveaway) the best way to ‘reclaim’ the MA-1 is to just wear it. The more they are seen around being worn by those who don’t belong to any particular group then they won’t be so...
The fake Sefton A-2 has resurfaced on eBay UK.
I don’t know what price it sold for at the auction rooms but it’s currently listed with a Buy It Now of £225.

Although Sefton Clothing Co. are no longer making jackets their A-2’s do crop up from time to time and there was a pretty decent thread started by B-Man2 a couple of years ago.

Although not on an auction site for anyone who may be interested there is what appears to be a WW2 era Irvin sheepskin jacket currently listed for sale on Gumtree in the UK.
According to the seller the jacket was restored/repaired by Byson back in 2016. This included replacing the zips and a...
Have to say I’m fine with the extra pocket.Especially as it looks to be an exact match done at the time the jacket was made by Aero and not just added on as an afterthought by someone less skilled.
There was an Aviation Leathercraft Irvin on eBay very recently which was clearly originally...
The following AeroLeather B3 is currently listed for sale on eBay UK.
Given the colouring would I be right to assume this could be made from ‘Redskin’ leather ?
The one thing that I find a little unusual is that it has two front patch pockets, and not just the usual one on the right hand side...
I wasn’t aware that one is expected to provide justification with any posts, however since you asked the intention was merely try to find more about the jacket manufacturer and widen my admittedly limited knowledge a little.
Although I’ve not seen in the flesh or handled many of their sheepskin...
This listing for an RAF WW2 sheepskin jacket is currently on eBay UK.
As can be seen in photo 3 of the label the jacket is apparently ‘an original IRVING R.A.F. flying jacket which has been made on the authentic machinery using the same quality leather as during WW2’
Although not a wholly...
The jacket was re-listed.
Although the seller dropped Eastman from the description they did say it was comparable in quality.
It sold for £336, some £514 less than the original asking price...
