Hey, sorry for the late reply. I’m afraid I don’t know the contract…I wound up trading in my Cooper in the early 2000s down in P-Cola for a decidedly less attractive Pharr. Big regret. I’m pretty sure it was cow and not very good cow at that.

That’s what it was. I knew the flat winged eagle looked familiar. The thing that threw me was I missed that it was post WW2 so DoD was a thing.

I don’t know for certain, but I’ve seen that flat winged eagle before. I’d almost say that he’s either holding arrows in his talons or an anchor. Maybe Dept of Navy, War official stamp?

Yeah, in the Marines it was zipped or off. But what happens on the flight line stays on the flight line. :-D

FWIW, don’t forget to consider the length. Short jackets can be a bit unpopular as they don’t look good with modern pants/jeans. But longer jackets get blousy when seated, and particularly strapped in, as all that extra jacket has no place to go. Which is why pretty much all the flight gear I...
