    Other Moto/Utility Jacket Forums??

LOL - power ranger! But those outfits are practical. I almost always use my aerostitch one-piece suit for commuting since it's so convenient and has built in armor. I can slip it on and off in seconds. I also have a two piece Revit for road trips since it's a little more versatile in terms of...

    Other Moto/Utility Jacket Forums??

Les, that's a tough one. All of the moto sites I know of are focused on the bike/riding aspects. This site and TFL are the only ones I know of that are focused more on the clothing details. Might still be interesting to post on a forum like advrider with large international membership. I bet you...

    Other Moto/Utility Jacket Forums??

Check out advrider. If you want an active site, that's it. It's not focused on moto clothing but there's plenty of discussion of it.

Never seen one like this before!

I have owned a couple in the past. I still have a mint G&F one that I can't part with even though I don't wear it. It's an amazing garment. Tons of thick goatskin go int on one of these and like others have said the materials are the same as you'd find on an M-422a. I wonder how many skins were...

    rw 27752 on the bay

Looks very nice, and in my size too :D I've bought from him before. He's very reputable.

    I'm blaming the forum ....

Hmmm, I guess I'm afflicted too! Other than $$$, closet space is another limit I've run up against recently. I have jackets stashed in closets all over the house. Had to do some thinning this spring. :(

    Poughkeepsie A-2 Mint!

Awesome example of a pretty much unissued jacket. This is likely what they looked like when the supply sarge handed them out. How much do you guys think it will go for?

    Toyo Californian

Miles--sounds like the leather on your California is more like the originals. I have admittedly only owned a small sample of originals but they did not have nearly as heavy and stiff leather as Aero FQHH (not that I don't like their utility jackets as I own two myself). Corey

Hi Cliff, Thanks--It's an original. Corey

    Toyo Californian

That's a beautiful, classically styled jacket. I love jackets from that period. What's the leather like, weight and pliability wise? And what sort of lining does it have? It's amazing to me that these Japanese firms are so passionate about details and recreating those jackets. Here's few...

eBay US ONLY RMNZ Monarch $400 BIN!!

I don't think the seller can even file non-paying bidder for at least 4 day after end of auction. However he could send a second chance offer right away. But then the winning bidder could rightly file a complaint against the seller for refusing to sell to him.

Ordering from Eastman or Aero web site

Platon: what's your location? I've ordered a few jackets directly from Aero in the past and got hit with customs about half the time.

    I Done Did It...

One of the distinctive features of the 18775-P is the dark seal leather with red undertones that develop after the jacket acquires wear. I had an example of this contract and it had beautiful leather with this character (other elements were lacking tho). Hopefully JC can replicate this aspect.

Seriously beautiful jacket, Grant. What's the hand of the leather like? How's the finish wearing in? corey

    A-4 Flight Suit Question

Yes, that detail is consistent with the A-4's I have and have handled in the past.
