I think I remember this seller,
If I'm not wrong, he used to auction things on bay at normal prices, usually closing the auction (with bids on the item) before the end, just to reissue the same item on auction again.
He kind of used ebay just to advertise sales on his website.
The situation should be the same for all Europe, but for my personal direct experience I only can talk about Italy.
Usually it's made to skip import taxes applied on price+transport fee - sometimes they can be arbitrary and very heavy and they by default include duties and VAT which I think...
Your jacket seems to have an interesting history - looks like it's been re-issued a couple of times.
I'm sure it has been through a lot . It would be nice to know the names of the former owners!
The "RW 18091 goatskin" looks quite good to me - the goatskin looks ok, it is named, patched and the actual price seems to be fair. Could be a good catch!

If I remember right the first contractor maker was Eddie Bauer - Original Eddie Bauer B9, with their real down filled quilted lining and very often with USAAF stencil, are very nice, and usually fetch quite...
I saw the hoodless parka they sell, I think it could be a field modified B-11 - but in the "WWII Flight Jackets" page they sell as well other jackets with strange features and civilian / different labels, some from the 50's...
It seems they don't make much distinction between original military...
These jackets are quite common, and many of them have a tag inside, usually with the navy contract number and sometimes with manufacturer's name, too.
Mine has something like "Red Star Co." and a navy contract number on the tag.
I think they were issued from WWII 'til at least the early...
In my opinion as a collectible item they will for sure, but if you plan to wear it, even just sometimes, the replacements might make it "easier" (more solid and less worrying) to wear.
