The jacket with USN stamped behind the collar and unreadable jacket might be worth a second look...A late fifties jacket? If it is in ok condition save for the knits, it should be worth the 30 dollars.
I remember the flea markets when I was in the US some years ago. Fun place to look around...
Welcome to the forum, and thanks for the interesting pictures.
I'm from Norway. I remember reading that after the German invasion in 1940 the Finnish Air Force received some Norwegian Brewster Buffalo fighters which Norway had ordered but not yet put into action when the Germans came. The...

Strange... It is the third jacket of this type I have seen in about a week!
Good pictures in the ad, seems like a decent jacket, winter is coming.
Wow.. Thanks for the pictures. It gives a much better impression to see it "live".
That is one serious flight suit, looks well made. The collar is as gigantic as expected. Yes, I can truly imagine that it is warm.. Would fit well in a Catalina while hunting German Wolf packs in the North...

I put in the first bid on this one at an impulse, as according to the measurements it should fit me perfect.. with 7 hours to go, I have second thoughts. Think I rather should sell my too big Eastman 1401 before I buy another...
I remember reading somewhere; If the start price for bidding and the "buy it now" price are too close, the item might very well end up not being sold, even though the BIN price is reasonable (as in this case).
A good jacket, nice mouton. Well-made ad also. ;)
I have two of these vintage Fosters. They are very good jackets, even though I don't have other manufactures jackets to compare them with. Interesting to see yet another version of the label! One of mine is from the same batch I think, but has...
I also have the latest Firefox, but have not experienced any warnings like you. I dont receive a warning on the page you link to either.
Cool jacket by the way. A honest, used Irvin. Still in usable condition.
Really cool find. I have the feeling that old pocket watches are coming slightly into fashion again. Maybe an effect of the big-watch trend. However, there are still so many of them around that most watches are not likely to rise in value.
Maybe this was buried during WW1 or 2?
I hope you...
Great artwork!
The breast painting of the pelican trying to force the youngster out inb the water made me smile! :D
Very suitable for a "Transition Training Squadron"
