Just an update, had the repair back, quite happy with what he did, it’s lucky to be in discreet place, you wouldn’t know and now there’s a little more movement to that bit so fingers crossed, no further tears. Side note, he agreed it was goat but didn’t think it was chrome tan which could...
That is a great idea. I honestly do think it’s the cut of the jacket and me not knowing my own strength that did it, as you’ve all pointed out, goat is much to strong for that. I’ll take the leather fixers words with a pinch of salt and see what his repair is like. I would have loved for BK to...
Yes I find it hard to think it was BKMFG, they are hardly the kind of company to supply poor leather, it’s a snug jacket yes as it’s the aeronaut, just don’t want it to end up shredded or unworn out of fear of it ripping more!
Hi all, just looking for some advice on an issue
I have a Bill Kelso jacket in Maltese goat, not that old, few years maybe,

thank you! Have a...
They are great! Not sure if anyone remembers me, I was asking tons of questions about their sizing for a Cossack/A1 look early fly boys type jacket. Well here it is, great fit, super thick steer hide but comfy, I had a chain of emails with Shawn, maybe 30?! Helping me with every step of sizing...
Thank you all, Went for a custom shape in the end, sent all my sizes and sized up a varsity jacket that fits me perfectly to get the cut (as I’m going for a 30s A-1/Cossack style)
Shawn was great, cannot fault the service, excited to see the jacket now! Fingers crossed I’ve sized it up right!
Oh I see! I was looking at an A1 or a Cossack shape, I found myself here via a web search. I’ve just realised as you’ve said that that this is specially an A2 thread, so apologies and I’ll repost if necessary. Just trying to gauge the folks that have bought from Fivestar to see if I have a...
