Looking for a new Cafe Racer

Consider the 641? It's a more fitted cut than the 141 and is available in steerhide which I understand is thicker than the 141's cowhide. Of your choices, I'd go for either a Vanson Style B in competition weight or a Foxcreek cafe. Then there's always Aero's cafe in their super thick HH. FCL...

Recommend an A-2 looking motorcycle jacket with armour?

Hein Gericke produced some bomber style jackets. Do a search on ebay and you might find some.

Last track day. Crashed a bit later in day, same turn. Taken at the Lightning track in Millville, NJ.

    soaking a jacket

I wouldn't say it shrinks it or stretches it. My experience is it helps the leather mold to your body and adds wrinkles which can pull in the dimensions maybe 1/2 a size at best.

    My JC's A2 after 6 months

Great looking jacket and perfect fit. Grain really pops. I pretty much wear the same thing to work too everyday - khakis or dress pants w/ a button shirt and an A-2.

    Schott J630 - Like Belstaff Trialmaster - 42

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :MESELX:IT Got too many jackets and this one has to go. It's a leather Schott that's quite similar to the Belstaff Trialmaster or Panther. I wear a 42R and it fits quite well. Bidding starts at 100 bucks with no reserve. BNWoT.

Thanks man. Good eye. Yeah Schott 689H in HH. The Harley I rode was actually the first time I've ever ridden one. I've only owned and ridden sportbikes and cafes in my riding career. Gotta say I really, really liked it. With the dealer installed Samson pipes it sounded great from the saddle...

Dunno why Kawi stopped importing the w650. I think they could blow Triumph right out of the retro market by reintroducing that little bike. I'd get the cafe version of course. They're even hard to find on the used market stateside. Folks who have them don't let them go. Here's a custom cafe...

What sort of A-2 is that? HH Cockpit? Fit is spot on and the chain is a nice accessory.

Thanks. It's all stock except for bar-end mirrors and an "off-road" exhaust which is not nearly as loud as you might think.
