A Generals original mint Dubow A-2 size 42 just popped up on e-Bay this afternoon with a low starting bid.

That surely is one top of the line Perry.

That leather's to nice to be stored away. Replace the cuffs and give er air.

Super graining on that Bronco Wz and luv the ancient looking blackening of the leather. And that's the right zip.

Originals take away a lotta the guesswork cause you get what you find.

Good point ~ The leather may still be good but the thread may not on originals now. But that Poughk's a beaut and still looks good and tough.

That Pritzker is 1 top of the line G-1!

True enough ~ It seems that its not always a certain contract or maker to make the perfect fit but just the right combo.

My original Willis & Geiger M 422 A / NXs-290 A contract. The goatskin is softer and lighter than most G-1's I've had and has acquired a nice patina.

Right on ~ There's much to see and learn here about classic leather jackets, old and new along with many other cool outfits.

Good to here ~ But in my haste I forgot to mention the difference between the snaps. The Spiewak uses the ring type for the pockets and collar. But Doniger uses the ball stud.

True enough ~ I have an original Doniger and Spiewak and both look and fit the same. They both have the shoulder seam under the epaulets and similar pointed collar. But the Doniger pockets and flaps are smaller. And as Silver Surfer noted the Spiewak is prone to dry rot. I've hard worn my...
