How to Choose the Perfect Motorcycle Jacket: Seeking Recommendations

I would go with a maker that specializes in Moto Jackets. If you're only going for looks, then you can do others, but for me, a proper moto jacket is versatile, and has accommodations for things riders need. So, start with what kind of bike/riding you're doing? I have a crazy heavy Lost World's...

D-Day cafe refuses to service the English

Yeah, but at what point do we forgive the errors of our ancestors? Seems to me the current trend is to go back as far as we can and try to make living people pay for the sins of our combined fathers. It's bunk. Life needs to move on, and I'd wager the folks who acted like fools don't know...

D-Day cafe refuses to service the English

So sad. We were there in 2011, and they treated us like royalty (Americans). Told us stories, and even bought us a beer. What the hell has happened to people in the world? Young ones especially have been brainwashed by university staff. I'd be pissed too. Just thankful our trip there was so...

    Those Japanese Made Jacket

I bought a new Buzz Albert Turner MA-1 a couple months back. Using to build my "Dad's" jacket from the 1950's USAF. It is a beautiful thing. And I always wondered how they called that a cold weather jacket as most MA-1's I've seen are pathetically thin. This thing is heavy, as in the middle...

1942 imperial Japanese navy landing forces tunic

So, my son picked this up. Got it in Canada. It's a 1942 imperial Japanese navy landing forces tunic. NCO. I don't know anything about it, but apparently people are going nuts and offering him crazy money for it. Note the blood and the hole. I am not saying it's a bullet hole, but it looks...

Good Wear Security Aviation Togs 46.

Damn nice looking jacket! I really like that color too - don't see it often. I doubt I'd ever buy another A-2 not made FOR me. They're just too finicky on my body... Someone could get a great deal though.

    What CWU 36P is this?

I got my NOS jacket with no smells, luckily... I have a bottle of this stuff - helps. I spray and leave out in the sun on a hanger. Usually a few days of this inside-out and outside-in will get rid of a lot of it. https://www.pooph.com/ Also, there are different batches of nylon and there was...

A-2 vs G-1 jacket measurements question

I do think you can go a little less accurate on a G-1 due to the back. At least in my experience. A-2's have eluded me, size and fit wise. I just can't seem to get one that feels good, so it's off to the GW queue to have one made. A-2s are the only jackets I've not been able to get either...
