    Gen. Montgomery

Hi all. I´ve always thought that the RAF flying jacket was only issued to RAF personal. But this morning I saw a documentary about WW2 and the battle at Caen, in ´43 I think it was. There were some short glimpses of general Montgomery wearing a beautiful sheepskin jacket. Could someone clear...

    Jacket "language"

Thanks, you guys! So, does that mean that an issued jacket sells for a higher price? (depending on the condition, of course!) I´ve also noticed that not all sellers on Ebay use the term "issued/non- issued". Wouldn´t that be a sales- argument? Kind regards Mike

    Jacket "language"

Hi guys. When it says that a jacket is "issued", what does that mean? Is that a good thing that affects the price? Since I´m swedish, there are still a lot of stuff about vintage jacket "language" that I don´t get! Kind regards Mike

    vintage?

    vintage?

Hi guys. I´ve got what probably seems like a stupid question: what makes a leather jacket vintage? How old must it be? Does it have to do with the shape of the leather, or what? I have a couple of leather jackets made in the 50´s, one of them very rare. Vintage? Kind regards Mike

    Where in London?

Hi guys! A very big thank you! I was afraid you´d say something like that, though! :( I looked at some Aero-jackets, but they are kind of expensive! Maybe Ebay is the only way to go! Big thanks! Kind regards Mike
