If they made their jackets from original patterns , which I’m sure they did . They should have been able to scale up the sizes accordingly so that the sizes should be very close. I know that JC at GW does that very accurately .If you compare the size 48 vintage with a modern in size 48, think ELC, I wonder if they fit the same?

I love the trousers - BR M1943 HBT - they go along very well with all Air force jackets and with the C-2 vest along as well...
I really love the wide cut of 1940s trousers, way better than this slim and slim fit trash that's en Vogue these days....
