Original Bronco 29191 Horsehide

I recently acquired this beauty from a fellow collector in Japan. It’s in great shape. All original except the zipper. The hide is very thick, yet very pliable too. Not to mention very grainy. A NOS Crown M-41 zipper will be installed soon.

Where you getting the NOS Crown from? I don't think MASH japan has any left?

The ELC A2 book says the one they have in the book is cow hide. That was by visual inspection. So I guess it could be either Cow Hide or Horse Hide but it isn’t goat .

I would have to agree it is not grainy enough to be goat.
