Just thought I'd post a few pics of my new ELC A2 in seal brown horsehide. I've had a number of Eastman A2s, recently a Cable and a Star and I have to say I like this one the best by far. The horsehide is absolutely incredible and it's just your run-of-the-mill Eastman labelled jacket. The pics show somewhat more shine than real life but I didn't want to wait for perfect lighting before sharing a few pics. Look at that wrinkling! I love it!
The weight of this jacket is a tad lighter than some other Eastmans but it gives a very authentic flexible look when worn, something I often find missing on repro A2s. This particular jacket was a re-issue depot purchase at £399 because the upper right shoulder panel is, according to Gary, somewhat stiff.....it's actually not at all. It's 100% perfect so a real bargain. In fact I bought another at full price in an attempt to restock my empty A2 cupboard and it also has the same truly superb horsehide ( I always buy in twos, I have no idea why :? )
