Hello,

I am not sure if this is goat or horse/cow. Could it be very, vey pebbly horse or its goat and that's it!
I tend toward goat but am uncertain.

Thanx for your help.

also, dany, I would not put too much stock in the cable raincoats labels, as from my experience, in wwll cable used goat, moo, and hh in all three contracts...almost interchangeably. 10008-p in goat as specified, but some were made of hh or cow. no name cables in any of the the above, ditto the first contract, but less so.

Victor thank you for pointing that out. I've concluded the same with zippers, you will find more makers than what is directed in G's book on one contract. Still a great book to reference, a bible in some way.
JC will also list leather types he observed on originals on his site that would be missing from the bible.

I find the surface to be very noisy and dense with pebble, hence why I concluded for goat.

But the underside of the pocket flap looks like horse/cow.
