It is an A-2. I've seen that photo before. It was quite common for German aircrew to wear captured A-2's and B-3's.

It is an A-2-that's Heinz Bar, a famous Luftwaffe ace. Pic no.2 is Don Blakeslee, and the young lady with the Hurricane and the chest is the delightful Lucy Pinder.

Royal Air force Museum Hendon for sure but not for sure is that Hurricane - it's a fibre glass replica and not a very good one by the look of it! At least it saves having a real one out in all weathers I guess but whose looking at the plane anyway!!

Reminds me I must venture off there again soon - always worth a visit is that place.
