Best jacket from a repro company

My best A-2, head and shoulders above any of the ones I've owned is my GW Star. It is the one John has on his website showing jacket pattern details. I picked this one up from Flying Yankee last year. The fit and the look and the fantastic HH and of course John's fabulous attention to detail makes it a standout. I still have six other GW A-2s in my closet, but the Star is the star of my collection. My second favorite A-2 is one I picked up from Diamond Dave, his Dubow 27798 in goat. Another great one and gets a fair amount of wear time as well.

Yes, virtually a charter member of Denimbro. Mr r and I are friends from when I used to live in SF. He actually took this photo.

GW seems to be in the lead - not shocking. Hard to knock any of those mentioned, but obviously, there's a maker that knows this business like no other. I just wish I knew I'd be alive in two years to get another one...
