Second prototype of the day... this is my take on the vaunted Buco "Sportsman" cap of the early to mid 50's. That said, I have gone one better than Buco and did not use any vinyl in the making of this cap. The peak on this one is Kip (Calf) in white with a white beaded edge. Topper is a Heavy Cotton Drill in black ( I am still sourcing a proper Wool Serge, as the original has)...drill cotton bead on the topper and a goatskin sweatband with a reproduction of the printed "Buco" label on prepared muslin.
