0105 is a 50s cut, and will be very similiar to LVC 55s. Maybe a little more tapered below the knee, and a little less rise. I give it my highest recommendation, and I kick myself in the ass for not picking up a pair of the contest model in size 38 before BiG sold out of them.

I don't have a pair of LVC '47. Do have a pair of size 38 '55s and '44s. The size 40 1108C is bigger in the waist than both, noticably shorter in rise than both, and smaller in the thigh than both. Best way to describe the 1108? Low rise, slim, 40s cut?

Tim P's interested in my L2, definetly need to move my B-15 and Monarch A-2. Will get measurements and photos taken by this weekend, and start a thread in the for sale section. Anyone interested in either, let me know. Have two pair of Japanese selvedge jeans (Full Count 1108C and Oni Red) I'm...
Was finally able to take a woman I've been interested in for months out to dinner Saturday night. She's what I'm going to be hunting this fall. ;) The hell with the wild animals (other than crows, they're easy to find and fun to shoot!).

I believe the date is mentioned on the ACME depot website. Feb or March '44? As Steve mentioned, the transfer was added to some A-2s when they came in for reburbishment, though some (probably in the US) recieved their while still new (probably sitting in a depot waiting to be issued)...
Other than gasoline and A-2s, I can't think of any other product in my life that has doubled in price over the past 15 years. Can't live without gas, but I'm done with A-2s.

As hard as they try, I haven't seen any of the reproduction guys get their leather or its finish/dye, close to what this beautiful example is like. Very nice vintage piece!

Look at those silly kids, they've washed their jeans. Don't they know that if they want their jeans to look all vintage like, they're not supposed to wash them until they reek of BO and can get up and walk on their own?!

Looks like it was one of the units in Italy. When I'm home at lunch today I'll grab the one P-61 book I have and see if I can identify that squadron patch.

They're the 0105C. They're a 50s cut (full in the thighs and ass, tapered below the knee) but with a little less rise than LVC's 55 and maybe a little more taper.
Everyone was supposed to have submitted entry photos for the Full Count contest by April 1st, and here it is the beginning of...
This is one of the better grainy reproductions I've ever seen. Only thing I'd liked to have seen done differently with it would have been having that grain at the chest down on the belly, and the smoother areas up on the chest. IMO, areas of heavy grain seem to look best then they're either at...
