Andrew, Looking at the Flight Suits A-2, the pockets appear to be the shape of the Dubow, yet they look like they might be slightly larger (but I could be wrong, I'm just going by photos). The authentic Dubow pocket looks rather small, but I guess that also depends on the particular jacket...

Sometimes originals in photos, when looking at the back, the box X appears to vary in size. Acme Depot shows an example of 'bar-tacking' instead of the typical box X (it's a Bronco A-2). They also show an example of no X inside the boxes (Doniger). Are there any other interesting variations...
