Both jackets look great, your ELC RW looks very similar to mine, as for the BK sleeves not tapering enough seems to be a pattern issue as it seems to be on all their ww2 jackets. I have a BK G&F M422a and the sleeves are the same with not much taper at the cuff end.
I really do like the A1 with the trim fit and soft capeskin and if sized correctly, a comfortable fit.....where as the A2 just has that historic hero look and feel to it however, with all the different contracts available and attempting find the best one for fit, it can be a never ending rabbit...
How is the sleeve taper down to the cuff on Platon's as BKs are notorious for big sleeves around the cuff knit with not much taper, from what I can see from your Dubow it looks pretty good.
I have to agree regarding the BK sleeves, there is no or very minimal taper and looks to be on all of their jackets. I have a BK G&F M422a and the sleeves are the same as the BK RW so looks like they use the sleeve pattern for all jackets.
