SomedayMy God Jorge !
What have you gone and done now?
Where the hell are you going to park that YF-23?

With most people this would just be a funny Meme .
I hope you don’t mind if I post it again .
PaulHere are my three American origionals, again they have been posted elsewhere but some members may have not seen them.
The B3 with the nametag is to my mind the most interesting, although it is not in the best condition I believe it to have been issued to a C47 pilot who was one of the first to perish during operation Albany dropping Paratroopers over Normandy on D Day.
The other B3 is very good and wearable as is the Anj 4, but the storm flap is missing and the zip is a replacement.View attachment 54577View attachment 54578View attachment 54579View attachment 54580View attachment 54581View attachment 54582
Thanks for your comments, I like to wear them occasionally, the Hamblin B3 is too small for me. I think it deserves to be placed in a museum somewhere, I approached the curator at the airborne museum in St Mere Eglise but at the time we couldnt reach an agreement regarding its procurement ( I asked a minimal amount to cover my outlay for its restoration).Paul
Those are great jackets . Are they for display only or are they wearable on occasion .
Thanks!, the first B3 is the Hamblin Jacket , Natalie very kindly found his picture for me last year after several years of failed searches by myself .Thanks again Natalie.Indeed, those are some phenomenal jackets!
The fact that youve been able to attribute it to a pilot who flew and lost his life on D-Day , should be something that they would be interested in having in their museum , I would have thought .Thanks for your comments, I like to wear them occasionally, the Hamblin B3 is too small for me. I can understand why ... nice looking piece .I thought so to !, but I am in no rush to part with it.
In the spirit of "jackets that have appeared elsewhere, but might be worth seeing again," here's my AN-J-3. It's all original, except for the cuffs, which some idiot decided to remove, and which Dave Sheeley replaced with his usual flawless craftsmanship.
