Cary Grant's A-1 (with the Indian motif) is almost certainly capeskin.
Nothing comes close in terms of drape (whilst remaining thick enough to resist wear).

Funny thing though. My GW A-1 in cape from a few years back has very soft and pliable arms. The front panels and rear however are very tough - even stiffer than HH. I've spent some time trying to work it in, but it's tough stuff. The arms though feel as though they could tear. It may not be the most authentic repro, but I've never seen a better looking hide.

.....I've never seen a better looking hide.
