Guys guys,
The answer to your worries is simple.
Just look at the website, and I quote
In the case of Allen's jacket, he wanted a size 52 which is too big. BK sizes stop at 48. So BK made him a custom jacket but
an extra long Talon was needed as the BK Talons in stock were long enough for sizes up to 48. Allen sourced and supplied the zipper.
For the A-2
From BK site again
This "Zipper : Reproduction 1942 Talon Bell Type #5 Nickel" means the same repro zipper used by Real McCoy's, Buzz Rickson, Goodwear.
So the standard version A-2 if offered with repro zipper, but if you want you can upgrade to NOS Talon, for an extra cost.
BK is working at a new online order form where you can specify exactly what you need.
I hope this clarifies it.
