Found these goggles with the WW2 Irvin and Duffel coat from same Vet.
Are the googles RAF or privat purchased.

Was almost sure...so donation to Caritas for their X-Mas market.
Yup... Civil version of the MK VIII Goggles. Frame should be blue/gray-ish and elastic strap is different. Still nice goggles for wear on a motorcycle of open sportscar

Yup civvy Mk.VIIIs. Probably 1960s or 1970s with a newish replacement strap. Value probably depends on location. In the UK, they'd be worth £15 to £25 most probably and would get quickly snapped up by the classic car open top mob. Outside of the UK that's a tricky one because the market is much smaller in terms of those knowing what they are and the vintage car scene. Put the equivalent of 20 quid on them, that's probably fair. They've got nice patina to them and from the pictures the lens don't look too terrible.
