A brief time with my original Rough Wear (probably RW), no tag but ID'd by JC as an RW. its an old A-2 in any case:

There's a lot of joking around at the forum about wearing an A-2 with the collar snapped, but in all seriousness I've heard that snapping those little "nipple" snaps on a vintage piece can be disastrous to the hardware.

Others with vintage jackets can chime in, but I understand the hardware can get pretty brittle.

There are some great jackets in this thread.
The winter months really bring them out.
Here’s a relatively rare one, it’s a Good Wear. I don’t think JC made too many B-15a jackets. The patch on the chest is embroidered and the CBI patch is incised leather .
