And what does a Freewheelers Journeyman look like?
‘20s style chore coat, high buttoning, flared skirts, flapped pockets. Shinki horsehide, Tatanka Brown, brushed flannel lining.
A very nice jacket.
Thank you. It's my day to day work jacket, where knitted collar/cuffs look a bit too casual.
aw, datsa nice,, boss. those freewheeler folks make some very nicely detailed, high quality gear.
A2 made by "NOBLE HOUSE" - was a testrun which was never officially sold - personalized by TIES whilst fetching my new car (AMG E63S / V8 Biturbo 4matic)
OK - you got me - just couldn`t stand - I'm in the Mercedes "Customer Center" for doing a presentation and this is one of the exhibits (unfortunately)
sweet car and a great color, too!
I had to look twice, though, if you had sold the A-2 to a guy with hair! Looks good!!
Indeed, that's a great choice of color!
I was about to do the same remark as Ties, didn't knew you had hair and almost didn't recognize you!
That blown back hair style is a result of driving that "Bad Ass" AMG!!
You've got to start closing those windows when your doing 150mph Thomas!!
nice jacket and car. I can't see the back of the jacket, but I am going to say nice artwork too.
Alpha Ind. MA-1
Gingham button-down shirt
C&A canvas bag
Nice one Thomas, and so's the Jacket.
Is that the Alpha TT MA-1? I was looking at one of those....
Yes, it is.
I was looking for a lightweight nylon jacket... I have had in the past two Buzz Rickson L-2A / L-2, when almost nobody except for the neo-nazi / hooligan scene was wearing "bomber jackets". Never really wore them, sold them long ago.
When nylon came in style for the "mainstream", the Rickson's were long gone... the Alpha is probably a lame substitute for the BR L-2A, but IMO it looks quite nice with khakis and a shirt. Nice straight torso, slender sleeves.
Where are these made, the website text skirts round that question quite carefully ?
being "bald" / shaving head for almost 20 years out of just laziness to cary all those "hair products" with my on my numerous bizz-trips around the world - think back then I have been one of only a few showing up to business meetings with suit/tie and a "shiny" head
now that it gets more common to "shave" and I do not need to travel that much anymore - and out of a request of my wife `n daughter - I decided to "regrow"
still need to find a style that suits me ...
today wearing Buzz Rickson L-2 which I purchased couple of days ago via our forum from "pilot"
would not have weared still without hair
Both very nice jackets.
I was looking at one of these. No nonsense, no bank-breaking, common sense MA-1 for summer. Nice.
